Kenny Omega was the main protagonist of AEW Dynamite: Beach Break. "The Best Bout Machine" defeated MJF in the main event of the night to become the company's World Champion for the second time. His victory has allowed him to return to the top of the mountain almost five years after his last world title reign.

Omega's coronation has been warmly welcomed by a vast majority of fans, who agree that the Canadian wrestler deserved this recognition. Kenny, for his part, took to social media to thank them for all their support and for never having stopped believing in him all this time.

"After 1,698 days of waiting to get it back, we finished the race. Thank you for never giving up on me and always believing, one more time", Omega wrote on his X account.

This victory will lead Kenny Omega directly to the main event of AEW All In: London, where he will defend the championship against Will Ospreay, winner of the most recent Owen Hart Foundation tournament. Before the event in England, the company will hold AEW Redemption, a PPV where the world title could be defended. At the moment, the company has only confirmed one match for the Women's World Championship, with Thekla defending the title against a returning Willow Nightingale.
