La Parka has secured his spot in the second round of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament that will determine Roman Reigns' opponent. In the August 15th episode of AAA on Fox, Parka defeated Psycho Clown in a match that ended with a key outside interference.
Midway through the match, the referee was attacked, opening the door for the interference. The hooded man who had previously attacked Psycho Clown at Verano de Escándalo reappeared and assaulted him. Parka was unaware of what had happened, but after the attack, he entered the ring, hit his finishing move, and covered Clown to advance in the tournament. After the victory, Parka made sure to check on Clown, who was unconscious in the ring.
With this win, La Parka now faces Penta in the second round of the tournament. The winner of this tournament will face Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on September 14, 2026, on Monday Night Raw in Mexico City.
