Zoey Stark from WWE has a new company. After officially becoming a free agent earlier this month, the wrestler made a surprise appearance during Thursday's TNA Impact episode and confirmed her arrival at TNA Wrestling. She will now compete under the name Zoey Serrano and will join the Knockouts division, after starring in an attack that served as both her introduction and the official announcement of her signing.
Serrano intervened after a confrontation in the ring between Daria Rae and Indi Hartwell. The newcomer first attacked Hartwell and then took out Rae, before the latter announced that Serrano had officially become the newest member of the Knockouts division. TNA has not revealed the duration of the contract, so it is still unknown whether it is a long-term agreement or an initial commitment.
This is not the first time Serrano has appeared in TNA. Between 2019 and 2020, she competed in three matches for the promotion using the name Lacey Ryan, although she did not achieve any victories. During that time, she faced Jordynne Grace, who was the Knockouts champion at the time, as well as Kiera Hogan and Taya Valkyrie. Her return, now with a new identity and after several years in WWE, offers her an opportunity to establish herself permanently within the company.
Her departure from WWE occurred while she was recovering from a serious knee injury that included damage to the anterior cruciate ligament, the medial collateral ligament, and the meniscus. The injury happened in May 2025 during a triple threat match on Raw against Kairi Sane and Rhea Ripley. WWE released Serrano in April of this year along with other talents, while she was still in the recovery process.
Serrano, 32 years old, had been part of the WWE system since 2021. She began her journey in NXT and received her permanent promotion to the main roster in May 2023. Before appearing in TNA, she returned to compete on the independent circuit and had five matches since July, including three performances for RevPro. She is now starting a new chapter in TNA with the goal of regaining her position on television and becoming a regular presence in the Knockouts division.
