WWE added a new match to the Sunday Night's Main Event card during the broadcast of the most recent episode of SmackDown. This time, it is a women's tag team match that will see Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley facing off against Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab, continuing one of the most prominent rivalries on the blue brand.
The match was confirmed by Alexa and Charlotte in a brief backstage segment. "Please, don't make me regret defending you," "The Queen" said to an emotional Paxley. In response, Paxley scored a significant victory over Michin in her debut match on the blue brand, further enraging her enemies.
Paxley joined Bliss and Flair to even the odds against Cargill's group, with whom they have a long-standing rivalry. The match next week will not only mark Tatum's debut in a WWE special, but also Alexa's return to action after recovering from the injury inflicted by "The Storm" last May.
