TNA Wrestling continues to explore possible additions to its roster as it moves towards Bound For Glory. The latest television tapings of the company in San Antonio, Texas, featured the presence of several free agents, including Abadon, former wrestler of All Elite Wrestling, and KJ Orso, formerly known as Fuego Del Sol.
According to Fightful Select, Abadon was backstage during the tapings held at the Boeing Center at Tech Port. The sessions took place after TNA held the live episode of iMPACT! on September 24 at the same venue, a day that featured the defense of the International Championship by Mustafa Ali against Jason Hotch and Trey Miguel as the main event.
The report also indicates that KJ Orso, B3CCA, and Shazza McKenzie competed during the subsequent tapings. However, Fightful clarifies that none of the four talents have signed a contract with TNA at the moment, so their respective appearances should not necessarily be interpreted as new additions to the roster.
The presence of Abadon is particularly striking due to her prolonged absence from national television. AEW decided not to renew her contract in 2025, ending a period of approximately five years with Tony Khan's company.
Abadon debuted in AEW in March 2020 and secured a full-time contract a few months later. However, her presence in the programming gradually decreased, and her last match for AEW took place at Worlds End 2023, where she unsuccessfully challenged Julia Hart for the TBS Championship under House Rules stipulations.
Although she stopped appearing in AEW, Abadon remained linked for a while to Ring of Honor. Her last match within the environment of both companies took place in February 2025 against Rachael Ellering. Months later, she publicly confirmed that AEW had chosen not to renew her agreement and expressed her intention to continue developing her career in professional wrestling.
Another standout name is KJ Orso, much better known among fans for his previous character as Fuego Del Sol. The wrestler was part of AEW for several years and became a regular talent on AEW Dark before officially receiving a contract with the company in 2021.
His signing took place during the inaugural episode of AEW Rampage. After losing to Miro for the TNT Championship, Sammy Guevara appeared to surprise him with his contract with All Elite Wrestling. The company ultimately decided not to exercise the options to extend his agreement, and Fuego left AEW in 2023.
Since then, the wrestler has left behind the mask and the character of Fuego Del Sol to reinvent himself under the name of KJ Orso, with which he has mainly worked on the independent circuit. His appearance in TNA is even more interesting because he is not the only major company that has recently evaluated him. Orso
Actually, this was not KJ Orso's first appearance during TNA's stay in San Antonio. The former Fuego Del Sol made his debut for the company during the live episode of iMPACT! on September 24, where he faced Ryan Nemeth in a qualifying match for the vacant X-Division Championship at Bound For Glory. Orso had several standout moments and even showcased a good portion of his current arsenal, including the Orso Driver and the KJ Clutch, but ultimately fell to Nemeth's Hollywood Ending. The victory allowed the member of The Nemeths to secure his spot in the title match at the upcoming PPV.
B3CCA and Shazza McKenzie complete the group of talents highlighted by Fightful. Both have experience in the independent circuit and have had previous contact with major American companies throughout their respective careers.
McKenzie is a particularly well-known name within the international independent scene. The Australian has competed for years in promotions in the United States and her home country, and she has also made previous appearances in AEW. B3CCA, on the other hand, has developed much of her recent career in North American independent promotions and has also had previous experience in the environments of AEW and Ring of Honor.
For now, the presence of these four names should be understood as part of the opportunities that TNA offers to different talents during its tapings and not as confirmation of future signings. We will have to wait to see if any of them reappear in TNA's programming. Their participation comes, in any case, as the company continues to prepare its path towards Bound For Glory and evaluate different options to strengthen its roster.
