WWE has confirmed a new match for Money in the Bank 2026. Bronson Reed will face Oba Femi in a singles match on October 10th in New Orleans, Louisiana. The showdown was made official during Monday Night Raw after Reed accepted "The Ruler's" challenge and signed the contract that he personally brought to the ring.
The match marks the next chapter in a rivalry that began with Bronson Reed's return at WWE Sunday Night's Main Event. The Australian reappeared after over six months away from TV programming due to a bicep injury and intervened in the match between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker, attacking the Nigerian with a chair and causing a disqualification.
The attack continued after the bell. Reed and Breakker repeatedly punished Femi with several Spears and Tsunamis, also confirming the Australian's return to The Vision. The rivalry continued on Raw, where the group once again attacked "The Ruler" together.
During the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Femi entered the ring to talk about the months he has been facing The Vision. However, he acknowledged that the situation had changed since Bronson Reed's return, whom he pointed out as the new "captain" of the faction.
Obe then presented a contract and directly challenged the Australian to face him at Money in the Bank. Reed didn't take long to show up. The Vision member entered the ring, signed the document without saying a word, and immediately went backstage, thus accepting the challenge.
Femi acknowledged that Reed had shown "some courage" by accepting to face him, although he warned that his fate had been sealed the moment he signed. WWE later confirmed the match for the Premium Live Event.
The match also revives plans that had already started circulating during Reed's absence. Before his return, it had been reported that WWE was considering a rivalry between Bronson Reed and Oba Femi for the final stretch of the year. The intervention at Sunday Night's Main Event finally allowed that story to begin.
WWE Money in the Bank will take place on Saturday, October 10th, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Reed vs. Femi's addition creates a new singles match on a card headlined by the two ladder matches and the defense of Roman Reigns' World Heavyweight Championship.
CM Punk and Lash Legend recently secured their spots in the respective Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, leaving only one spot open in each match. The final participants will complete a card that now includes the first individual match between Oba Femi and Bronson Reed.
