The popular platform is once again cutting into the red brand show of WWE

The show was also edited by several seconds to avoid showing the blood on the Samoan's face

Shows of WWE Raw on Netflix are usually reviewed after their live broadcast with the aim of censoring those parts that the platform considers inappropriate for the target audience of the program. Therefore, it is very common for some promos, blood, or foul language to be cut, censored, or directly removed.

The latest case of censorship took place in the most recent episode of the red brand, specifically in the final minutes of the show, where Jacob Fatu was run over by a vehicle driven by Jaida Parker. Some fans have noticed that the scene has been removed from the show. Instead, the platform has left a black screen with the background audio.

Netflix has also censored the moment when Royce Keys hits the head of "The Samoan Werewolf" with the door of his car. Just like in the case of the hit-and-run, the platform has kept the audio over a black screen. Additionally, it has fast-forwarded the end of the program a few seconds. In the original version, the cameras showed Fatu's bloodied head.

It is worth noting that WWE has not cut the segment in its social media posts, as can be seen in the YouTube video linked in this same news article. On the other hand, this move by Netflix is not new. In recent months, it has censored a t-shirt of Brock Lesnar with the slogan "Talk shit. Get Hit," as well as a sexually suggestive comment by Becky Lynch, among other things. A way of proceeding that WWE already had in mind when signing an agreement with the platform, but it remains a headache for the post-production team.
