WWE celebrates tonight a new episode of Friday Night SmackDown, a show that will take place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, and will be broadcast on USA Network in the United States and on Netflix internationally.

In addition to the confirmation of John Cena, WWE has officially announced that CM Punk and Sami Zayn will be part of the show. CM Punk's case is special, as he is currently a Raw superstar. Last Monday, on Monday Night Raw, after having an intense confrontation with Becky Lynch, Punk hinted to Adam Pearce that he would be part of tonight's show.

On Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch faced off against CM Punk as she tried to reach Seth Rollins and repeatedly slapped the Second City Saint. In response, Punk made it clear that The Visionary would regret cashing in against him, and that The Man would regret laying hands on him.

Sami Zayn was crowned the new United States champion last Friday on Friday Night SmackDown after defeating Solo Sikoa in a show held in Lyon, France. The Canadian will appear tonight as part of the confirmed cast and may have to endure the wrath of Sikoa and MFT members.
