Paul "Triple H" Levesque had to retire in the year 2022 due to a heart problem that almost cost him his life. However, he still dreams of fighting and recently mentioned that if he could get back in the ring at his best, he would choose to face Roman Reigns. The WWE executive confessed that he would be his dream opponent in case he could return to the squared circle.
He currently holds the position of Chief Content Officer and is the mastermind behind the creative direction of the company, a role in which he feels completely satisfied with what he has achieved.
If I could come back at my peak, it would be against Roman Reigns. He's a great guy, an incredible talent, and a spectacular performer. Right now, he's filming movies, still a WWE Superstar but already making the leap to Hollywood. He's going to be a huge star.
Triple H and Reigns have faced each other in the past. They both headlined WrestleMania 32 in 2016, at a time when Levesque was nearing the end of his career and before Reigns adopted his current Tribal Chief persona.
Currently, Roman Reigns is away from WWE programming while filming his role as Akuma in the upcoming live-action Street Fighter movie. Therefore, he will not be present at this Saturday's WWE Wrestlepalooza event. Cody Rhodes, who also participated in the film's shooting, has already finished his part and will compete in Wrestlepalooza, where he will defend the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre.
