Seth Rollins does not plan to miss the farewell of one of his greatest rivals and generational companions. The former WWE world champion revealed that he plans to attend the final match of John Cena, scheduled for December 13 at Saturday Night's Main Event in Washington, D.C.
During his appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Rollins casually talked about his upcoming trips to watch NFL games and, almost unintentionally, let slip the news that he will be present at Cena's last match.
We're going to travel. We're going to stop in Chicago for the Cleveland game because we have a good route back from D.C. after John Cena's last match.
Cena's farewell match will be against the winner of the Last Time Is Now tournament final, where Gunther and LA Knight will compete for the right to be his opponent. The 17-time world champion will put an end to over two decades of career, and Rollins has made it clear that he will be there to witness it from the front row.
As for Rollins, he was forced to vacate the WWE Heavyweight Championship after suffering an injury in his match against Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel. The following week, on Monday Night Raw, he was attacked by his Vision teammates, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. There are rumors that he could be back for the Royal Rumble, although that might happen at best in terms of his recovery.
